Ricardo Leal, Chairman of CL Grupo Industrial, has been awarded the Gold Medal of the Province of Badajoz, a recognition that celebrates his business career and his commitment to the economic and social development of Extremadura.
The ceremony, held in Olivenza on Saturday 26 April, also recognised actress Carolina Yuste and Banca Pueyo, in the presence of authorities such as José Luis Quintana Álvarez, the Spanish Government Delegate in Extremadura; Miguel Ángel Gallardo, President of the Provincial Council of Badajoz; and Blanca Martín, President of the Regional Assembly, as well as former presidents Juan Carlos Rodríguez Ibarra and José Antonio Monago.
In his speech, Ricardo Leal highlighted that “in Extremadura, great dreams can be built with perseverance, humility and heart”, and he expressed his heartfelt thanks to his family and to all the Group’s employees who are part of this great story.
